The team at University College Dublin have a background in farm-level modelling and agricultural policy analysis. The team involved in the proposal consists of Dr James Breen and Dr Alan Renwick. Dr Breen’s research interests involve analysis of the impacts of agricultural and agri-environmental policies at the farm-level. He previously worked for the Rural Economy Research Centre in Teagasc where he was a member of the FAPRI-Ireland team. Dr Alan Renwick is Professor of Agricultural Policy at UCD, his main area of work has been in policy evaluation, particularly involving commodity regimes and agri-environmental policy, and he has undertaken work for such bodies as Defra, the Environment Agency, the National Audit Office and the HGCA, previously. He was previously the Head of the Land Economy and Environment Research Group at the Scottish Agricultural College.
